Vampires Suck (2010)

Move over Edward Cullen and Bella Swann, a new band of vampires are coming in the way to suck your blood. "Vampires Suck" is a spoof of a box office movie Twilight Series specifically, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. When Becca Crane's mother started an affair with Tiger Woods, she immediately moved to Sporks and live with her estranged father. She faces new adventures including her unexpected encounter with an unusual group of students particularly the "foundation beauty," Edward Sullen.

After saving her from the van incident, Becca finds herself falling in love with him. She is at first suspicious of him believing that he is one of the Jonas Brothers but Edward Sullen, though a bit hesitant reveals to her the truth that he was a vampire and that he only sucks animals' blood for food. The two eventually fall in love finally making Edward to introduce Becca to his vampire family. The meeting was a disaster after Becca cut her finger and ignited the thirst on Edward's family. Soon after Edward breaks up with Becca fearing the danger he and his family might cause to her.

Torn and broken, Becca turns to Jacob White for comfort and later discovers that he was a werewolf and part of the werewolves' pack protecting their place from three punky vampires.

Miscommunication happened soon after making Edward believe that Becca killed herself. He searches and goes to Zolturi to kill himself but was refused. He goes outside and shows his glittering body to the crowd. Becca arrives just in time where two opposing fans of Jacob White and Edwards Sullen are fighting.

The scene angers Daro, the Zolturi leader. Edward fights with Daro and later forces him to turn Becca a vampire. Becca agrees after their marriage. The movie concludes with Edward fighting against the leader of Jacob White's fans club making her the first meal of the vampire-turned Becca Crane.

This movie is hilarious and fun, making it a surprise one day winner at the US Box Office. If you want to spend your time laughing out loud at the movie house, this one's best for you.

Death stalks the dreams of several young adults to claim its revenge on the killing of Freddy Kruger. Avatar Goes Underwater!

James Cameron recently said: Part of my focus in the second film is in creating a different environment – a different setting within Pandora. And I'm going to be focusing on the ocean on Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative, but it just won't be a rain forest.
This is massively positive news. Cameron loves the ocean, so you know he'll throw the kitchen sink at this project. Plus, since they've already developed the CGI infrastructure, the actors won't need to be punished with twelve hours of filming in the water per day a la The Abyss. I also believe that Cameron will fix the heavy-handedness this time around. It will still be pro-environment but it won't be as simple as "Don't kill the God-Tree!" One more interesting note, the last sequel Cameron directed was called Terminator 2... which made eight times what the original did at the box office. It also took seven years to come to the big screen. Conclusion: Avatar 2 is going to be the biggest film in history, but it's also going to take a bit longer than people are expecting.

The Back-up Plan (2010)

A single woman opts for artificial insemination after dating for years and failing to find the right guy, only to see the man of her dreams breeze into her life just as she learns she's pregnant. Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) is well aware that her biological clock is ticking, but she just can't find the type of guy she'd want to settle down and start a family with. Eventually, she makes the decision to become a single mother. The very same day that Zoe is artificially inseminated, however, she meets Stan (Alex O'Loughlin), a single charmer whom she thinks would make a great father. While at first Zoe struggles to hide her condition from Stan, before long there's no denying the truth and she decides to spill the beans. Much to her surprise, Stan responds enthusiastically, announcing that he's in it for the long haul. Over the course of the next nine months, Zoe and Stan enter into a whirlwind romance, begin drawing up wedding plans, and mapping out the rest of their lives together. But will their burgeoning relationship collapse under the stress of all this weight, or was it simply meant to be that Zoe and Stan would both find each other at such a crucial turning point in each other's lives? ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Hollywood.com

A veritable fanboy (and fangirl) dream come true, the film takes the conventions of the genre and turns them on their mask-covered heads.  Directed by Matthew Vaughn (helmer of the excellent 2004 crime drama "Layer Cake), the film stars the always likable Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin from "Superbad") as Red Mist, the excellent Aaron Johnson as Kick Ass and in a scene stealing pairing, Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy and Chloe Moretz as his daughter Hit Girl.  With jaw-dropping scenes that boast incredible imagery and heretofore unchartered thematic territory for a pre-teen actor in a mainstream film, "Kick Ass" is bold enough to take the courage of its wild convictions to a cinematic extreme.

Channeling Natalie Portman's pre-teen hit man (or girl) in training in 1994's brilliant "Leon" ("The Professional" in the U.S.), Chloe Moretz's hit girl will have parenting groups losing their minds as this cute little kid uses the language of a truck-driver and handles weapons like a pro, while killing more people than Steven Seagal in his heyday.  Add to the mix Nicolas Cage in a terrific supporting role as Hit Girl's father and you've got a father-daughter pairing that is at once twisted and touching.  Look for strong word-of-mouth and the so-called "twitter effect" to help this film achieve long term success, not to mention that when the film was screened at ShoWest earlier this year it garnered a tremendous positive reaction from theatre owners.

Opening in 2,459 theatres is the ensemble comedy from Screen Gems, "Death at a Funeral" which boasts an all-star cast including Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Luke Wilson.  A nice counter-programmed alternative to the comic book styling's of "Kick Ass," this R-rated look at the humorous goings on, revelations and kooky family interaction at the funeral of the patriarch of a large family should perform well this weekend.  The classic Screen Gems formula of taking a modestly budgeted film and coupling that with a great marketing campaign will have this one proving itself with a solid per-theatre average.

Last year both "17 Again" and "State of Play" debuted with a combined total of $37.8 million and hopefully this year's combination of newcomers and strong hold-overs like Warner Bros. "Clash of the Titans" and Fox's "Date Night" will give us an "up" weekend over last year's comparable frame.  After last weekend's "down" trend, we could certainly use a boost and the continuation of our 10% plus revenue advantage over 2009 at this point.

Why 'Avatar' lost big at the Oscars

Avatar was really a great science fiction epic film even though the story is predictable it got the attention of many people in the world. So why those it get so much attention? Is it because it was directed by James Cameron who directed the movie Titanic or is it because it has been develop for to long which began in 1994 ? Avatar gross for about 2.5 Billion surpassing the gross of Titanic for 12 years But why avatar Lost big at the Oscar? The answer would be simple actors and actresses are afraid of the feature. However unfair it may be, it seems no one likes the idea of being replaced by a machine.avatar is the feature of movies. Human evolve so as the technology. Avatar is the feature of art in movie industry and no one can stop it.
